Sassie's Little Rant

An existential anarchist, as an idealist. But living in the real world, I am someone who enjoys enabling those less able to reach their potential. I like to experience life and trying new things and travelling to different places.

To our surprise we awoke ready for more of Barcelona.  The following day was the bright and beautiful day we had been hoping for, as today we would be heading to the beach.  We piled on the sunscreen, and slipped into our swim suits.  We were determined that a swim in the sea would be had.  So off we popped to the local beach at Barcelona.  The walk turned into a bit of a hike, but once more we saw loads of Barcelona that we may have well missed if we had used anything as useful as a bus.    Finally we came to the Mediterranean.  The beach was packed.  But then, what did we expect, It was the weekend, it was a beautiful day and it was a city.  So we hunted around for the most appropriate spot for us to sunbathe and prepared to stay put for most of the day.

Being the bathers that we are, we have very little respect for the sun cream industry, particularly me, being so pale.  The suntan cream always keeos me looking that way, and so rather than ply factor 30 on, I opted for the greek oil I bought year before last with factor 4.  Needless to say my plan worked and I left the beach with the desired level of blush to my so pale skin.  I wanted to go swimming and asked Martha whether she wanted to join me.  She looked around the beach and asked whether our stuff would be safe.  Of course, I replied, Chris and I always did it, she continued to hesitate, what even on a crowded beach like this she said.  Yeah, no problem although now I was not so sure.  Martha did not like the idea so off I went for swim alone.  Well thank goodness for Martha’s sensible head, for a little while after we saw an incident which involved a bag being snatched from the beach, although, it was returned to the owner but two guys who had apparently caught the criminal.
